These wonderful people from our church had taken their great grandson to raise because his mother didn't want him. They are in their late 60's or early 70's and had him for almost a year. They were in the process of trying to adopt him and were to go to court in Oct for a hearing. Last Wed. he started acting like he didn't feel well so they took him to the doctor Friday. The doctor sent him home with saying he was probably just cutting teeth and gave them something for his low grade fever. Yesterday he stopped breathing and they rushed him to the hospital where they in turn airlifted him to OKC. When he got to OKC they said he had a brain tumor and no brain activity. Tonight around 7:00 they turned off all the machines and that is the last I have heard. Michael was the best natured baby I have ever seen. He turned one year old a week ago Saturday and had just started walking about three weeks ago. He was always smiling and everyone a church loved to play with him because he was so happy. Even though I haven't heard anything since 7:00 I am almost positive he has left this world now but he touched so many peoples lives he will never be forgotten. The prayer request isn't for Michael, because he doesn't need prayers where he is, but for his wonderful great grandparents who are going to be devastated at his passing.

I couldn't even begin to imagine losing my kiddo. That's the one thing in the world I could not handle. No parent/grandparent should ever have to go through losing a child. Prayers sent their way.

I think I'm going to go up to my daughters school and surprise her with lunch.

:( This has been very hard on myself as well as 24 and our entire church. Heaven got a little bit brighter and a little bit happier when that little guys soul went to be with Jesus. Thanks for all the thought and prayers again guys and continue to pray for his family. :(:(:(

Prayers sent, may our graceous Father bring peace and comfort to those who are mourning.

For His Word says, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matt 5:4
