Sorry if you all arleady know this...but apparently Green Bay released Martin and it's being reported that Thompson is officially number 3. Maybe I'm completely wrong and a huge idiot...but if not...Congrats Paul!!!

They are cutting to 53 on Saturday. They have another guy who can double as quarterback (I believe he's a reciever). I hope he has a great game, just wish he was playing with better guys. The Packers will be trying out lots of guys when ENA plays, so lets hope at least some of them know how to block and catch.

Paul has a few things going for him:
1- Brett and Aaron have both gotten injured in the same game before.
2- Brett's old and Rogers had season ending injury last year.
3- PT's a nice guy and has potential.

Paul has quite a few things going against him, however:
1- Roster spots are limited, and other positions are stacked with talent, namely DT/DE
2- PT's been throwing interceptions in both practice and preseason games.
3- He's only played quarterback for a few seasons in college.
4- He wasn't drafted, so it's not like they're giving up a draft pick by cutting him.
5- The media keeps reminding them about the Domer receiver that can play quarterback.
6- The media also keeps reminding them that most teams only have two quarterbacks on roster.
7- There are veteran QB's out there about to get released who would be more of a safety net than an undrafted rookie.
8- The practice squad is calling.

PT needs to have a incredibly awesome KICK @$$ game to make the roster. So I need all of you to set your televisions to FOX on Thursday and send good vibes to PT. The odds are very much against him and he needs all the help he can get!

He didn't throw any picks, but had quite a few incompletes. Granted, he was with the 3rd team. I believe he's a longshot, but I have my fingers crossed for him.

The most discouraging part of the game yesterday (other than the loss and the fact that he didn't get to throw a touchdown) was that he only led drives to three first downs, and a promising drive ended on a PT sack on 4th and 1 :(

I'll keep checking for any hint of roster cuts.

I went to the game and Paul did'nt look bad but he did'nt set the world on fire either. Hope he makes it. On the other hand, Brandon Jones caught a TD pass. He could have a decent year. Stay tuned!!!
