Got a little tear in my eye when my wife sent me this photo. I am stuck on a job and unable to see him play.

That's cool martin. You might want to think about contact lenses if he actually gets into the game and plays much.

he sees okay without his specs. We have tried to get him to put contacts in.
We got him a trial pair and he just doesn't have the patience to put them in just yet..

I was thinking of Kareem glasses.

Hell, just go to Walgreens and get him a pair of blue swim goggles. Chicks dig goggles.;)

D-Line according to him. This is his first year and its all very new to him. I am just glad he is wanting to play. He has never taken an interest in football until this year. 6th grade

He must have figured out about cheerleaders.

at that age, just tell him to line up, stay low, and be mean. oh, and go for the ball. learning fundamentals is good, but developing a nasty disposition is more important.

be proud pop, just dont be an ******* parent at the games, when you can make it:D

I'm gonna make sure I get to see at least one or two. and I never yell at my kids at games. I learned my lession coaching youth baseball :D

No doubt that you are proud. That's awesome and that's a nice number. That's the number both of my boys use as well.

Great picture! I think I get more fun out watching the kids play, than I ever got out of playing.

Eric Dickerson used to sport some sweet rec-specs back in the day, didn't he?

yep, Kids Inc. Mama Are their games going to be on Saturday?

By the way, I was sitting out in front of your house early yesterday evening. We were running a watermelon from the Texas St. Market over to the mom in law and old Doc Benson was out pulling weeds. We stopped to visit. If there ever comes a day, we sure are going to miss our chats with old Doc.

Yeah Doc stays pretty busy out in his yard. I think he'll be around a few more years. I guess they play on Saturdays I am not sure yet. Probably gonna conflict with the younger ones NWOSA soccer games.

I like the number as well but since he wasn't into football until recently I'll let you guess why he chose that number.
