I love me some sweet potatos. Especially with butter and brown sugar. I don't know why regular potatos have gained such an upper hand in our society.

dude the sugar levels in your body are probably sky high after eating potatoes, butter and sugar.

Dude. Make fries out of sweet potatoes. Instead of salting them, hit them with cinnamon and sugar. Freakin' awesome.

Mix up some orange juice and yogurt to put on your sweet potatoes. Much healthier and surprisingly tasty.

I live alone so when I do sweet potatoes I bake 3 or 4 in foil. Once they cool you can toss em in the fridge and nuke em a few days later. Hardly worth heating up the oven for just one sinc ethey take so long to bake.

I just had sweet potatoes for dinner. I roasted them in the oven with onions, mushrooms and a pork tenderloin.

regular potates, you can make a full meal out of them, some chilie, sour cream, cheese, bacon bits, and a beer.

McNellie's has sweet potatoes fries, but I don't think they put cinnamon and sugar on them...

Except for sweet-potato pie or sweet potato fries, I have to force myself to eat 'em.
Potatoes may be more fattening, but
potatoes > sweet potatoes.
Awesomey mashed, fried, baked, boiled or any combination thereof, and they go with anything'

Momma puts sweet potatoes in foil with a little butter and puts them on the grill. Just a little salt and pepper and they're good to go. Way, WAY better for you than white potatoes.

I haven't eaten a white potato (fried/baked/hashed/boiled) in months. Taters make you a fatass.

This past weekend, I threw together some risotto...

Tossed in some diced asparagus, tomatoes, shrimp and yes.. some sweet potatoes...

It was indeed the bomb.

Then what's yer excuse? ;)

I agree, though. It's too bad badger despises them. AND SQUASH. AGH! I love squash too... Alas, 'tis the sacrifices we make to be with the ones we love.

I'm doing pork tenderloins in a teriaki(sp?)marinade tonight. I'm not ruining the meal with sweet potatoes though.

Sweet potatoes are greatness, but the chief value of potatoes is versatility. It is also God's perfectly designed vehicle for gravy delivery. :D

I always eat the skin when I have a baked potato, so it's a moot point for me, but I have noticed that baked sweet potatoes come away from the skin way easier than normal ones.
