Depth chart has been recently updated, guessing this our starters/two-deep for Saturday...

Why is DeMarco not going to return kicks...

For as good as everyone projects our O-Line to be....they are all juniors and only 1 senior in the 2-deep...

Why is DeMarco not going to return kicks...
probably going to work him into a bit instead of just throwing him out there the first kick of the season.

i like seeing 4 offensive seniors on the 2-deep. things look good for a few years on the offensive side.

Look at all the underclassmen from starter to three-deep. Dang, put your shades on.

A few things caught my eye: Cory Bennett not in the 2 deep, I thought he would at least be in the rotation. Braxton and Williams still in a tie for the starting RT spot, those guys have looked equally good through the spring and fall. Lastly, Quentin Chaney being out of the top 6 WR's is a little surprising.

It's good to see Brett Bowers listed at second team. Didn't he want to transfer last year?

My guess as to why DeMarco won't be returning kickoffs Saturday is that AP is already dinged up, and probably will see limited duty, and they don't want to expose DeMarco to undue risk in what is arguably the most violent play of the game (kickoffs).

Good to see Bowers as second-team SS - I know he's been working hard. Good to see Wolfe as the starter at SS. Hopefully he's found his home.

It's not very surprising to see Bennett out of the two-deep. I always thought he was a bit of a placeholder until Granger and Coleman got out of Shipp's doghouse. McCoy and Taggart were expected to be where they are.

Interesting to see English be the other 1 at DE, with Dotson stuck behind Williams. Not that big of a deal because they'll all play, but still interesting.

A little help Please.........I thought McEachern quit?? Is Allen Patrick playing on Saturday? He quit for about two weeks, then was persuaded back by the coaches and Hartley.

I seriously doubt Patrick plays on Saturday.

Venables has been heaping praise on English since fall workouts began, called him out as a starter about 2 weeks ago...

Does having a walk-on DT in the 4 man rotation worry anyone else? Is he that good or are we that thin there?

Wishes for this team (in order):

1. Don't turn the ball over on O
2. Turn the ball over on D
3. Please DJ, don't be "that guy" anymore.
4. Please, Reynolds, take care of yourself!
5. Hartley, deliver on all those promises of touchbacks.

Noah's worked hard and been kind of a utility guy for the OL. Cool to see him get a shot to back up Cooper.

it's funny how they have some of the weight right and others are old time.

I heard 'em say on the radio that Gresham is 266. and I thought Tennel had gained some weight, 184?????:D

I think 184 includes the weight gain. Seriously, he weighed like a buck twenty last year.

Is Finley really up to 260?

or his he still a little too big boned right now? He'll be adequate to spell Lofton, if needed. But he fell behind Lofton while working off the weight and I don't think Lofton is going to give it up.

Since Reynolds came back- they moved lofton to Middle because he has experience there.

Mike Reed has dominated all scrimages but he is getting some shiate for not showing up in practice everyday. He still needs to learn a bit and that is our best combination of LB's with experience.

Reed dominates the middle in game time and should play this year.

I've been waiting ad waiting for Demario Pleasent and Lewis Baker to arrive.

Not sure why, but I've always secretly rooted extra hard for those two.

As seniors, I hope they get to play a bunch more than they have.
