2008 Boone Pickens Stadium Reseat Guide
This guide should serve as a basic outline for the reseating of Boone Pickens Stadium prior to the 2008 football season.

Timeline:

January 2008 – Season ticket holders will receive renewal notices from the OSU ticket office.
March 2008 – Season ticket holders will receive a letter with their current ranking and POSSE Priority Points, their current donor status, and a request for 3 phone numbers.
May 1, 2008 – Renewal deadline for 2008 football season tickets.
May 1, 2008 – Last day for donations to be received to count toward seat selection ranking.
May 15, 2008 – OSU ticket office will mail final selection times and rankings to donors.
June 1 - 14, 2008 – Seat selection process at Athletics Center complex.
Current Ranking

Current ranking and priority point information will be available online by September 8, 2007. You will be able check your points by logging into your OSU Athletics Account after that date.

Improving your Ranking

The deadline for gifts to be included in your ranking for the seat selection process is May 1, 2008. For all gifts made you will receive 3 points for every $100 donated. A point calculator will be available at www.okstate.com to help convert dollars to points and vice versa. A snapshot of point totals that can serve as a guideline for certain rankings will be provided in early September 2007 and updated regularly.

Reseat Process

In March, all season ticket holders will receive their current point ranking for seat selection purposes from the OSU ticket office. On this form, donors will be asked to provide three (3) phone numbers where they can be reached if they are not able to come to Gallagher-Iba Arena during their selection time.
On May 15, the OSU ticket office will mail a letter to all donors with their final ranking, selection time, suggested report time, and the selection location.
All group seating will be based upon the person with the LOWEST point total. All members of the group must come at the same time or provide their form to other members of their group.
The selection area will be in the Athletics Center complex. Actual location will be determined in the spring. There will be a waiting area for donors to check-in upon their arrival.
If a donor is unable to make it during their selection time, they may send a representative in their place by providing them with the letter that has their selection time on it.
If possible, the stadium will be open for viewing potential seat locations, however, donors are reminded that they must be in selection area at the appointed time, not in the stadium.
At the appropriate time, donors will be led to the selection area, where maps of each section and the available seats will be waiting. Each person will have an OSU Athletics staff member aid them in the seat selection process.
Any donor that does not check-in by the appropriate time will be contacted at the three (3) phone numbers provided by an OSU Athletics staff member. The staff member will assist them in seat selection. If the donor cannot be contacted, they will be assigned the best available seats at that time based on their location for the 2007 season.
Once a donor chooses their seats, they will be escorted to the checkout area where they will receive confirmation of their new seats location, and pay any monies still due.
Season tickets will be sent from the OSU ticket office by mid-August.

Hey another reason and it doesn't take OU brain power for the sheep humpers to figure out. Ticket prices are through the roof. Remember last year when they wanted us to shell out $100 to visit their place? For their big game with bomar and Div 1AA Sam Houston State, the ticket prices are $60 for the seats overlooking the endzones, $100 for most of the rest, and $220 between the 40 yard lines.

aggie logic. you're cearly NOT thinking like a man who worships barnyard mammals. see, seats overlooking the endzone at boone's farm actually are 50yard-line seats in most other venues (including OU). however, seats on the 40 in rustoleum stadium are actually in the endzone most other places. now $60 is actually a good price for 50 yard line seats. $220, on the other hand, is a bit pricey for endzone seats.

my point??? i don't have one, other than if the pokes think they'll get $220 for a visiting sam houston, they haven't been venting the barn of the methane gas.

Didn't they misspell the name for that priority points group? Shouldn't there be a "U" and "Y," rather than a "O" and "E"?

IOW... purchase a life insurance policy with OSU as the beneficiary and you get to sit with your friends.

I'm surprised they didn't raise prices again. Seriously, that's not a rip on them... they're awfully expensive for no more than what they get to see (a football game).
