There is a nice 3-minute interview with Paul Thompson on the Packers' website (under recent video, dated Aug. 24), where he talks about surviving the first round of player cuts today and how he feels about his chances to make the team...

Thanks, Jay.

Paul just seems like a real good young man. I hope he gets a chance at the NFL level.

He is one well-spoken dude. Great representative for OU and (hopefully) for Green Bay.

I'm no cheesehead but I must say that I have not rooted so much for an OU player to make an NFL roster EVER IN MY LIFE.

GO ENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the most recent report:
Favre has started 237 consecutive regular season games, and Green Bay may not even need a third QB because receiver Carlyle Holiday was a quarterback and receiver at Notre Dame.

“It's where you are with your team at that moment,” Ted Thompson said. “Every team I've ever been associated with has always had at least three quarterbacks on the 53, so again, it kind of depends on where you are with your roster and how the thing works out when you get down to it.”

So, they have a Domer that can play receiver and qb. How exactly does this make him better than a Sooner that can play receiver and qb?
