Whenever possible I buy Oklahoman and support local businesses. However, the pharmacy I have used for no telling how long is simply out of the way and inconvenient for me to continue using. However, I just can't bring myself to call Walgreen's and transfer my prescription regardless of how ridiculously convenient it would be for my location and schedule. Is this something I should not feel guilty about?

Don't feel guilty. Just send a periodic prescription the other dude's way so you don't feel quite so bad.

I used to work for a small independantly owned pharmacy. I would feel bad if I was in your shoes. Places like Walgreens and Wal-Mart will never fill my prescriptions. Dont get me started on mail order drugs

I found another local pharmacy closer to my house. Still not as convenient, but I just couldn't transfer to Walgreen's.

If you don't care whether you get the right drugs or not, and don't want anyone to double-check possible drug interactions, then by all means go to Walgreens or CVS.
