I think GP is the most underrated Sooner halfback in history, and a lot of that is due to a lack of media exposure. GP with today's TV would have had as much pub as any USuCk tailback in recent memory.

There's something unutterably beautiful about watching OU's 1970's teams run pitchouts around the corner in slow motion.

And I enjoyed the linebacker who was faked back and forth so much that he finally just fell over backwards.

I had never seen any footage of Pruitt till now -- I admit, I'm a youngin', but I'm always jonesin' for a good lesson in in Sooner history.

That guy was an absolute stud.

Just another reason I wake up every day proud to be a Sooner. :)

He has the highest average yard per carry in a season in sooner history.. like 7+ yards a carry thats pretty impressive.

Give it to Pruitt, He can do it!

I remember sitting in Sec 16 as we yelled that.
