Sometimes I get tired of listening to music at work and have found this website:

http://www.archive.org/details/oldtimeradio

I used to listen to old Sherlock Holmes and The Shadow with my dad when I was growing up (used to be on NPR on Saturday nights I think) and most of that stuff is on here. Also some cool science fiction stuff as well.

Dude...that's a really cool website. I bought my father a collection of old radio shows a while back and we sat and listened to them together. They were REALLY cool.

Thanks for sharing!

I got lucky and picked up a radio station that was playing old shows one night while I had pretty long way to drive. The timing was perfect: 2 full shows before the station faded out. One was Sherlock Holmes, the other was about some lost treasure on the desert. The old ads were da bomb, too.

Oh yeah, cool site.

There is a Radio Classics channel on Sirius (http://www.sirius.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Sirius/CachedPage&c=Channel&cid=1104779628769) which has a bunch of those old shows.
