As the world of TV has become a whole lot more "xxxtreme" since American Gladiators' early '90s heyday, the remake will include to-be-announced water challenges and high-tech special effects. We're hoping to see some shark boxing. Laser-shark boxing.

Producers are still searching for their line-up of "Gladiators," but perhaps they should just look up the old cast. They couldn't be too hard to find; surely there can only be one dude named "Zap" in the L.A. phonebook.
