I am almost embarrassed to admit that I remember the first Moore War…and now we’re in for the twentieth match up! It will be August 31 at 7:30.

A group of us are meeting for dinner and pre-game festivities at Dan McGuiness Pub. It’s at 1003 SW 19th Street in Moore, across from the apartment complex. I’ll be there by 4:30 and will probably leave by 6:15 to secure parking/seats for the game. Come join me for some Lion taming fun. Kickoff is 7:30 and WHS is the home team. Advance sale tickets go on sale Monday morning at the school.

Post-game how about Buffalo Wild Wings? It’s just south of 19th Street on the west service road. DMP gets crazy busy and already has a live band booked for the night so it will be packed with regulars. BWW is larger and can handle our rowdy crowd. If you can’t join us early, come late!

Also…we have t-shirts from the Westmoore Alumni Association on sale for $10. Let me know if you are interested in buying a shirt or meeting me for Lion Killing Cocktails. Here is the shirt:

All I know is that you guys have the best football coach ever! I double fuzzy heart Coach Whaley!!!!

It's too bad that he couldn't do anything with the boys from B-town.

Wish I could be there for the last true Moore War. Unfortunately, I have another game to be at for my job.

Those were some good times. I recall that Westmoore was undefeated in Moore War until I graduated.
