There was a good movie a few years ago, might have been made for TV, about Napoleon. Does anyone remember the name of it or does anyone remember someone who played in it so I can track down the title?

I'm going through a Napoleon craze ATM. Does anyone else have any good movie recommendations that center around Napoleon?

i don't. maybe Woody Allen's Love and Death. though, some of Woody's flicks haven't aged so gracefully. on the culinary side, you might google "Pollo Marengo"--reportedly the dish Nap's chef improvised after the decisive battle much to the pleasure of "the world-spirit of horseback"*. recipes vary wildly but it's kind of fun to think about--make and eat, if you are into Nap's role in the creation of the contemporary nation-state.
edit: two things, googling pollo di marengo gets you a bunch of eye-talian. better is chicken marengo. wiki say before the battle, i might be wrong.

and spek to who can name the author of "the world-spirit on horseback" phrase.
if you wanna get your Bonapartiste vibe on, might as well take communion and make pollo i di marengo.

How'd you do that? About 30 years ago there was a movie about Patton and for the life of me I can't remember the name of it?

Nothing wrong with being short.
Short guys do, indeed, rock.
