Dude, Wichita just approved Sunday sales. Though they voted against casinos and slot machines. Dumb bastages.

My first bout with that law was in Hueytown. The dude in the local **** and get that wouldn't sell it sent me into the hood. I go in this crappy *** store where they had logging chains through the beer cooler doors. They had enough slack in them to pull the beer out, as everyone in there was doing. I get up to the counter and hand him a twenty for a twelve pack and he say's "thanks".

my parents live in Chilton County, Gump. they got beer/wine 5-6 years ago.

yes.

and Clanton has 2 mexican restaurants now too.


of course the food is awful, like someone's in the back heating up Patio dinners. the concept of free tortilla chips w/ a meal was the talk of the town for quite a while.


that's what you need while you're here - good mexican food.

I don't know why all the fuss, I've never had a delay to Drunkytown in Oklahoma. Got me one of them there fancy liquor stores within walking distance.

Oh, there are some areas that are still prudish! The all nudey bars around here are all BYOB because they can't sell alcohol. Bunch of prudes!

The reason nekkid bars are BYOB is so that the po-po can't come waltzing in to check for liquor violations and catch you doing the nasty with some lap dancer.
