proud gonzo

really? I'm guessing you're overstating just a bit, because my neighborhood seems to be just fine. You got anything more specific than "everywhere"?

Soonerus

The 8" area smartass...'

proud gonzo
8/19/2007, 11:49 PM
thanks for the name-calling, but i wouldn't have been asking where it flooded if I knew where that area was

Soonerus
8/19/2007, 11:50 PM
I gues you were not affected but alot of of us were....

proud gonzo
8/19/2007, 11:53 PM
I gathered that. And yet I'm no closer to knowing what areas of Norman flooded. But since you're about to melt down, I won't bother trying to find out

Tragic. I guess the internet is still up.

At least Tornado season is behind ya! I don't remember Oklahoma having a heavy rainy season in August it has been 5 years since I have lived there but maybe I am wrong. I did grow up there and remember May as being the tornado/rainy season!

We were not affected either and we are right between Boyd and Brooks.

Hell our pool didn't even over flow, came close but didn't overflow.

So there goes your everywhere theory.

I guess I need to call my folks and see how they did in the "flood of 07". Well I hope everyone makes it out of this ok! I just don't remember the metro every getting hammered that bad by rain. Also, Draper might get contaminated by sewage! Oh crap! Wait it's too late!;)

there have been a couple of times i've had to go out in the pouring rain and run the filter on waste to lower the water level......its especially fun when you add lightening to the mix!

In San Antonio we've had several deaths related to flooding in the last week.

Most are stupidity related.

"Turn around-Don't Drown"

I've watched an idiot cross a barricade with 4 people in a Honda Civic. Pure stupidity.

I think "everywhere" is the name for Riverwind's parking lot, it was up above my knee there

Ike
8/20/2007, 10:41 AM
so, was everywhere just at lindsey and mcgee?

and riverwinds parking lot.

It's so unusual for Russell to believe that "everywhere" and "everything" are exclusive to his immediate vicinity. I'm flabbergasted.

This thread is a poor, poor effort at a meltdown. Someone dig up Stanley's meltdown and show 'em how it's done.

proud gonzo
8/20/2007, 11:20 AM
um... this thread is not really where the meltdown occurred. For that look for the 5 locked ones from last night.

I think the usual intersections flooded. The ones that flood every time it rains.

You mean Flood flooded? I never would have guessed...

Okey dokey. I'm up to speed now. That was an average meltdown at best. I give it two eddies.

:eddie: :eddie:

Although it did seem at points he was channeling dolemite.

Probably. I didn't pay much attention to the news chick giving the story, since I wasn't going to Norman Sunday.

This thread is a poor, poor effort at a meltdown.

If I had a dollar for every time "a poor, poor effort" applied to Russell, I'd almost be as rich as Russell.

Sorry. I was flittering in and out of a couple of the threads in the early stage, but I was in transit when the crazy hit the fan, then asked for its money back.
