Tilapia, Chipotle-everything, burrito bar fast food joints, mango-salsa burgers, green tea, and the same dayyum "restaurants" in every town on every highway. No, sir, I don't like it. I'm not for it and I'm boycotting all of this crap as much as is possible.

Can I just get some real food at a real place that is the only place like it?

all i can think of is those fad diets, like the carb-free, sugar busters, stuff like that.

wraps. Vitamin Water=2.5 servings per bottle, at 50 calories a serving=kool aid.

I'd like a chipotle-encrusted tilapia sandwich on ciabatta bread with aioli, please.

Green tea is hardly a "fad" - they've been drinking that stuff in Japan for how many hundreds of years? And tilapia's just another kind of fish.

I'm with you on the damn chain restaurants, though. I'll go for the unique places if I can. If you're in wichita and haven't tried Delano Barbeque Company, you're missing out.

i can see the objection to green tea, more or less. i buy the leaves dried in bulk. i drink it usually ever-day.....almost. the bottled kind here is sweetened with cane sugar or another sweetener....so, it's kind of a lie or taste swindle, whichever you prefer. there's no discernible "green tea" taste.

i make it as sun tea in a big glass jug in the summer with mint and a few thin slices of fresh ginger root. put it in the fridge for a few hours after a couple hours in the sun. very refreshing.

bottled green tea can die and go to hell. actually, I would say the same for most kinds of bottled tea. Tea should be brewed, not twisted open.

I also hate all of the easy-to-prepare crap at stores. It's nigh impossible to find a freaking pork loin that hasn't been pre-marinated with some kinda crap and vacuum sealed into a plastic bag for who knows how long.

PF Changs Resto seems over hyped. Fusion of chinese food, like east meets west.

I was watching Mike Rowe on "Dirty Jobs"...

I think he said that Tilapia was farm raised and fed on Bass Poo...

I think I've eaten my last Tilapia.

Sun dried tomatoes, flavored vodkas, chilada beers, wraps of any kind.

Things off the top of my head that I hate.

It's 'Mom 'n Pops' for me all the way these days.

I drink green tea twice a day normally, 1 in the morning, 1 at lunch. Not bottled either.

Maybe it wasn't bass poo....

I'm still wary though...

Find a university with meat science department. Cheap meat straight from the animal to you.
