hey is there a screen up in the north endzone for this season? I just feel bad for the folks in the south endzone--they need some love too.

I think they took the south screen and moved it to the north. The south gets a bigger/better screen.

Not for this year. Super-duper screens in '08.

"The final phase of scoreboard construction will be completed for the start of the 2008 football season. It will include the replacement of the of the 21-by-36-foot foot video scoreboard in the stadium's south end zone with a mammoth 32-by-113-foot foot display capable of high-definition video replay."

Plus, I was at the Stadium today, and the North scoreboard looked just like last years'. The ads of the South SB were being changed.

Maybe they can throw in some better speakers while they are at it. The portable JBLs are kinda weak.

I'd like to see them go old school and put up a scoreboard where you have to manually put up the numbers and have a dial time clock

"It is reported that sponsors will come up with the millions needed to construct the new electronic displays and sound systems."

The north got a new video board they had the pics on Soonersports.com.

I hope I am not wrong but they are redoing the ribbon boards along the edge of the upper deck and putting in a new sound system. The new video board in the south should be wicked awesome.

Yeah it was nice.

The North one looks the exact same, but they took the old screen out, and put in a video screen capable of doing more than showing scores in a puke orange color.

Crazy pokes.

An OSU Cowboy spokesman explained. "We're still two years away from being finished. Who knows what kind of technology they'll have by then."

um... maybe something that helps inferior teams suck less?

I'm betting the new technology will involve trash bags.

Maybe they will put some orange LEDs on that cattle gate. Then they can enter the stadium with real class. ha

I thought the pics of the north videoboard was merely photoshopped to show what it WILL look like. Hope I am wrong though.
