Interesting write up on espn.com...except OU's 47 game winning streak did not even make it out of the first round.

Hmmmm...so a record that still stands from the 50's and hasn't seen a team get within ten games of it...basically about 75% at best from USC a few years ago...isn't worthy of making it a few rounds? Dude put Hank Aaron's feat as the best ever...better than anything. I disagree, but it is something to talk about on August 13th when "jack" and "squat" is going on in sports.

Cal, 56, and 47 all should have gone further.

1. OU's 47-game winning steak
2. :stunned: bareez rekerd
3. The Babe's records were beer and hotdog conditioned... no needles or creams needed.
4. As much as it pains me to say it... who besides Vince Young has 400+ rushing in two BCS bowls? NTM the passing yards. That's gonna be pretty tough to compare to. Not the greatest player ever, but certainly incredible big-stage performances.
5. Red October 2000-- look at where OU was two years prior makes this one of the best accomplishments (records) in NCAA FB history. Cap it off with a win over the yearly "greatest team evar."

I know, I know... lame... I could think of more probably. Michael Jordan comes to mind as well.

I once held the record for longest pee at O'Connels. 3minutes 42 seconds. It was well worth it
