Frog fan here. Just wanted to drop a little news to y'all. Looks like y'all will get an opportunity for revenge next year. We're going to be returning to Norman on Sept. 27, 2008. I'm looking forward to it. Y'all had some of the classiest and nicest fans I've ever met at a road game last time I was there in 2005. Hopefully, we'll have all expansion and renovations done to Amon Carter when y'all return to Fort Worth in 2012.

On a side note, I hope we can soften up the Whiney Orangeheads some on 9/8. If history repeats itself, hopefully McCoy won't be active by the time they're fed to y'all in October in the Cotton Bowl.

I don't think it's about that. I mean, I'd like to get revenge on a few teams, like Cal and BYU, but that TCU loss was nothing to seek revenge over. We weren't very good at the time, TCU wasn't very good at the time, and we made the critical mistakes (or TCU forced them, however you want to look at it) that you can't make if you want to win.

Well, now. THIS "Whiney Orangehead" is looking forward to Sept. 8th. On Sept. 9th you may want to reconsider a home and home with OU or any other big time program. Stick with Baylor and SMU. (oops, you lost that one, too)

which one? we haven't lost to Baylor and beat the snot out of a good SMU team in 85. maybe you you mean the Bluebonnet Bowl in 68? but i doubt it.

Buddy, talking 'bout, and to, TCU. They lost to SMU the week after they played OU in 2005.

It was kind of interesting: A Frog and a Horn smacking each other on the Sooner chat site. Sort of the same thrill I got as a kid when my cousins would act up at Christmas dinner and get whapped upside the head for their trouble.

Vicarious pleasures are sometimes the best.

Go on now, talk some more trash to each other.

Sometimes the strays that wander into the yard provide the most entertainment. Just trying to keep y'all amused. :D

No problem. I knew what you thought. And as another poster said, it has to be pretty amusing to watch a Horn and a frog bash each other on your board. Small world.

Too bad Jerry Jones, Joe C, and TCU athletic director Daniel Morrison can't get together and set up the return match-up for the opening game of the 2009 season in the new Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington on National TV. That would be very cool.
