in the okc metro area, where would be a good place to start?

i haven't had a chance to check out the area in a couple of years, what areas are growing, improving etc.?

SE Norman, near the intersection of Classen and SH-9. You might be too late, there's a lot of stuff going in there already. NW 24th north north of Robinson is going to be huge, too, but I imagine a lot of that property is spoken for already.

MLK by downtown OKC. In fact if you can get a restaraunt on MLK in any city....

Tulsa. It's allegedly infinitely better than OKC.

contrary to northsider opinion, it's the wealthiest per capita zip code in the metro.

souf side, ~119-149th area between portland and sante fe.

Hey CP, have you thought about opening up a restaurant?

You could do a pirate theme and have it shaped like Blackbeards boat.

You could call it "Queen ANN's Revenge"

At present Edmond and near Edmond NW OKC is pretty eat up with BBQ places, however, none of them are close to my house. Might I suggest somewhere between Western and Santa Fe on 150th Street? :D

there's a strip mall type thing that has been empty in Blanchard for a while. It's on HWY 62 between the school and Knippelmier Chevrolet. It's been sitting empty since it was built. You might get a cheap lease.

Blanchard has no places to eat at. You should look into it. It's not far at all from OKC.

then you would have a really big menu, since she invented food. her quesadilla menu alone looks like the Brothers Karamazov.

i'll look into it. we should be moving out there in a month. i'm used to paying really high rent here so hopefully i'm pleasantly shocked at the prices there.

and kc, sure i know how to get her running, i'm just not excited about going through that process again.:D

i heard mustang is growing a bit. maybe i'll check there as well as the other locations mentioned.

thanks guys.

as an employee, i opened two different places, one as the sous-chef. it's tough. what's gonna go wrong today?

i'll miss you up here for the hoops no TV commiseration broadcasts and such. best of luck, and best with the family my man.

I'm assuming that is a Rivendell refernece.

BTW, 73170 goes as far north as 104th St.

Some places to consider:

104th and Penn, 119th and Western, I-240 corridor between Penn and Santa Fe, I-35 and 19th St. in Moore, along the canal in Bricktown, Broadway Extension.
