Who's getting crazy?

Ohhhh, you must mean the noobs. ;) Insider didn't even make it one page before someone threw out the "we got Murray, we'll be fine" comment. :D

not that I wish AP any ill-will, but running back is probably the position where we can most afford to have an injury

Newsok:

OU RB Patrick sprains ankle

NORMAN — Allen Patrick, a senior and Oklahoma's incumbent starter at running back, suffered a sprained right ankle during Wednesday's practice.

No further details about the extent of the injury — or his availability for Saturday's 11 a.m. scrimmage — were known and head coach Bob Stoops was not available for comment Thursday.

It is the same ankle that Patrick injured last Nov. 4 against Texas A&M, which caused him to miss two games.

Patrick was OU's second-leading rusher last season, with 761 yards and four touchdowns on 168 carries in 12 games, including five starts.

Guess that should give those going to the scrimmage more Madu/Murray/Brown/Gute to speculate on. I'm sure Patrick will be fine, and at this point we all know what he can do. I'm anxious to read about the newbies.

Somebody slap the trainer, and then tell him to slap some extra tape on AP's ankle by gawd, we gotta a season gettin' ready to open! ;)

we are rough on our RBs :(

i just hope we aren't going through the depth chart like we were in 2005

bum wheel. doesn't look to be anything serious. he sat out as a precaution.

but there's always a chance they're hiding his injury a little bit.

:stunned: duz that meen peterman is starteng :stunned:

I hope he's okay, his running stlye is dangerous. Not like AD's style-dangerous, I mean he makes those quick cuts without any hip movements to absorb the inertia. It's basically all on his ankles and knees. :(

well, if it supposed to be minor, with only missing 3-4 days, so not too much as long as it doesn't linger.

His foot could be amputated and we'd be told it was a mild sprain.

If Stoops comes out with anything less than as high ankle sprain, then we might as well assume its an Achilles or amputation perhaps! :)
