i tired searching for that old thread about the margaritas, but my A.D.D. kicked in and i soon grew tired of searching. so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

3 shots of Cointreau
3 shots of brandy
6 shots of the best tequila money can buy...

12 shots of what ever mix you want...

You can find plenty of mixes to make yourself too...

Put ice in the blender with the liquor.

Slush it up.

Add mix and more ice...

Dip your glasses rim in water and dip the edges of the glass into salt or sugar if you like...we've been doing sugar lately...I like that better.

Oh...stay at home once you've drank them all.

PS: you can also trim off the outer edges of lime slices and throw the meat of the lime in when you put the liquor in the blender with the ice. You can use Triple sec instead of the expensive stuff I mentioned. You can sustitute Gran Marnier for the Contreau too. I use the VSOP brandy, The Contreau and good tequila most of the time. My Wife has been making them with fresh porter peaches lately and they are awesome...

Instead of Sweet n Sour...

You can get those frozen Bacardi mixes at any grocery.

use apple juice as a sweetener not a mix (all sugar or high fructose corn syrup). apple juice has a clean taste.
