If you don't know me, I live in Omaha, NE among a bunch of Husker lovers. We have fun giving each other a hard time, but the fact of the matter is, they can't stand that we are better than them on the football field. I like to rub this in whenever I can.
I am a systems engineer where I work. I work on many of the internal applications that our operations and sales team uses in their daily jobs. We just had a salesperson come in and complain about how one application was handling sessions across the multiple browsers. Well, I had to come up with a way to fix this.
I put in some code to detect if a new session had been started. If not, I now show them the page below. I couldn't resist.
