My Razr screen just crapped out on me. I can still answer calls but can't see to text or find a number in the phone book.

Anyone had a similar problem with the Razr? It's not new, so no warranty to be had.

My old Razr did the same thing. The guy at Cingular/AT&T said that it was some ribbon that went out and they have had a lot of problems with the old Razrs but the newer ones are supposedly fixed. I just a got a new one since I was eligible for an upgrade.

I've got one if you're still needing one. Brand new. Never been used... but it's not a Razr.

Is that okay?

Thanks for everyone's help (Not pat). I talked to my brother last night, and he is actually upgrading his phone today, and will let me borrow his old one.

I'll be back if it's a POS. ;)

Colleyville...I heard from a friend that the razr screen has problems with things getting under the display screen. Especially for those that put it in their pockets. I have been told that lint gets under the screen and causes it to fail. It is a known defect. I haven't had the problem. get with motorola.

Damn... that was my wife's first cell phone circa 1993. She had a separate carrying case to lug that thing around.

yeah I can see stuff under the screen.

I also had a problem with it a while back where I would shut it, and it would reset. Took it in for repair, the guy said I spilt something on it and it couldn't be warrantied. Too bad I never did. He sauid "I'll try and clean it for you, but it will only get worse."

It never did that again and that was a year ago. :D

From my favorite employer...

On 29 June 2007, Apple released its iPhone in conjunction with the Cingular/AT&T service. The Apple iPhone is not compatible with the existing your favorite employer infrastructure. Therefore, the Apple iPhone is not currently endorsed or approved for general your favorite employer use.
