That is the first that I have heard about him getting injured.

And Cedric Griffin is the one who tackled him. Great. Thanks, whorn.

so is it an ankle or hip pointer injury?

Because AD was limping, and trainers first looked at his ankle, the reporter/blogger thought it was his ankle. The head coach later reported it was a hip pointer and AD has gone from All Day to Day-to-Day status.

AD was a man among the boys in college and no one can question is ability or desire.
Durability is another issue. Let's hope he can stay healthy. If he can, the Hall of Fame wouldn't be a stretch.

Blah blah blah questions about durability arise blah blah blah.

Chester's out.

I'm disturbed at the rate of injury of Sooners in the NFL the last few years.

I was thinking about that when I saw that Dan Cody was injured yesterday. Seems to be happening a lot. Coincidence I guess?

I'm disturbed at the rate of injury of Sooners in the NFL the last few years.Yeah, but we do have quite a lot of NFL players. I would assume we are in the top five nationally for most players there from a university.

Not too many people play in the NFL without injuries, it's part of the deal. AD will be OK (I hope).

For full disclosure, the poster was immediately called out for it, too. Real fans don't want anyone hurt.

Good, that's reassuring to hear. I don't even root for major injuries against Caine players. Having blown up my knee twice, not even a Caine should have to endure that.

Thanks for the update.

"It's not a big deal at all," said Peterson, who called the injury a minor hip pointer. (http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/MIN/10278748)

So what did he do exactly, did he take a shot to the hip? Is that what I'm reading? Or did he fall awkward?

He took an elbow to the hip while catching a pass. Surely he's not out there without some kind of hip pad protection, unless they were in shorts.

as much as it is hard to admit he seems to be injury prone...
