They would bring a huge television market and it IS all about the dollars.

Here's also hoping it puts the Big Ten into two divisions and forces a CCG on them.

The big TenOrEleven could still screw that up. The only rule on record concerning CCGs is that a conference must have at least 12 teams. Just because you have 12 teams doesnt mean you have to have a CCG.
Given thier track record we have every reason to believe that the Big TenOrSo would keep right on screwing with college football. Sure there would be big money in a CCG. However, with 12 teams and no CCG the Big Ten-ish would be able to throw the college football landscape into chaos every year. There's no way they can resist that opportunity, its like crack to them.

TV markets, decent recruiting area, a "hot name" buzz with Schiano and no demonstrated long term success, sounds like a good move for the wallets and the additional patsy (history says) on the schedule in hoops and football that tOSU and UM will like.
