I saw this work in a high school football game in 95 or 96. It was raining and they were switching balls pretty frequently. The center picked it up and handed it to the QB and he started walking to his sideline, when he cleared the ends, he sprinted for about a 50 yrd TD. I can't remember who was playing, but it was a 2A game in Oklahoma.....
