Wal-Mart is probably happy this broke their streak of stabbing related news stories the last couple weeks.

That's what Wal-Mart is supposed to be about, support the American way of life..

Wally World's response:

For further details, I would encourage you to contact the customer's insurance company

My question is if she doesn't have the money to sue, how does she have the money to drive her RV all over the country to protest Wal-Mart?

Frozen Sooner

Doesn't look like she drives her RV around protesting Wal-Mart. From the article, it seems like the RV is burned out and uninhabitable and she's parked in front of the Wal-Mart that installed the battery.

Unless I live a few blocks north of Florida, I wouldn't say that's the case.

My bad. Missed that she had the battery installed in Florida. Jesus, that thing is hard to read.

Stupid Wal-Mart just buy a used RV for the woman! What is that going to break the company?

A couple of months ago, my dad and I were waiting in the Wal-Mart parking lot while my mother ran inside. He detests the place as much as I do and he says, "The only thing that differentiates this place from a medieval carnival is the lack of chickens and swine."

Now honest to God this is a true store...a couple of weeks before I left for Waco, my dad and I are in the Wal-Mart parking lot again waiting for my mother to come back and from literally no where this g-damned chicken goes running across the parking lot. He looks at me and says, "Well, I shouldn't be surprised that Muskogee hasn't progressed much since the Dark Ages."

Maybe you'd have to have been there but I thought it was pretty damned funny.

If the PRC ever does attack us or one of our allies, it will have been financed by Wal-Mart.

Just saying.

I've asked Wal-Mart managers about that common problem. They've told me the shortage was because not enough folks apply for the job. If that's true, then maybe they should open it up to undocumented immigrants.

I don't care if my blue-vest at Wally World can habla inglis as long as she can "boop-boop" my stuff and put it in a bag.

Why do you hate self-checkout.

AND

I'm sure Sam Walton is rolling over in his grave at the thought of some non-english speaking jockey checking you at one of his stores.

I have sympathy for the woman but she's the one that made the decision to shop at Walmart and deserves to suffer the consequences of the crappy service.

I am, however, watching with some self-satisfaction as Walmart's stock price continues to get pounded.

Some people are just cursed at the feet of the federal government and Wal-Mart.

I don't agree. I went to McDonald's the other day (I know, I know, but I was in a hurry and it was on the way) and every single employee in that place save one was a Mexican who barely spoke English. The one person who did speak English was so insanely frustrated with his crew I thought he was going to strangle one of them. It's McDonald's. Not Casa Senorita Viva Taco Hut. Sorry if I think that they should at least try and speak English instead of looking down their noses at me.

"Immigration reform" is going to succ.

Obviously you haven't been to the SuperTarget on Memorial Road. Same thing.

I can walk right into the Super Wally on N. Penn and never have to wait. Plus they have really redone the inside quite nicely.

I was at our local wm last night (because target doesn't carry dog kennels) and I was reminded of the episode of King of the Hill where Hank is at Mega-Lo-Mart looking for some WD-40 and a tap and die set.

<hank hill> "Son, just tell me where your hammers are." </hank hill>
