can anyone list some of the games where Les Miles seemed to have the game in control and lost it? We are having a discussion about Miles and Fisher on another board, and I knew he had some games that he led pretty big and lost late...anyone got any info?

I remember the LSU vs. Tennessee game. LSU was up and Tennessee came back and won it (I think in overtime). That was where Lester was trying to call a timeout after a change of possession.

There were a couple of UTerus games like that. It seems like they did that in last year's bowl game, too. Oops, that was Gumby, not Leslie.

monday memory is not the best, but wasn't les the coach when the pokes skeered the ut cows badly then folded late? I, of course, could not watch...WAYYY too much orange, potential retinal damage.

Wasnt there a game they played some louisiana directional school in Shreveport. Snatch a lose out of the jaws of victory.

Wasn't his team up big on the Muddogs in the 1st annual Bourbon Bowl?

I haven't read this thread, but really just look at any time his OSU teams played Texas...especially his last two years.

2003

Okie Lite holds a 16 - 14 lead over Texas... Inbreeding with sheep under the rusted bleachers of "The Outhouse That T. Boone Built" is rampant. Then... DOH.. Texas reels off 41 straight points.

2004..

Okie Lite holds a 35 - 7 lead in the first half.. they lead at halftime.. 35 -14. Les is accepting congratulatory phone calls at halftime.. He's doing a phone interview with LSU at halftime.. then...

DOH!!!!

Texas wins 56 - 35!

good times.. good times.. :D

Two games where OSU was far ahead of Texas in the first half, only to be blown away in the second half were the 2003 and 2004 games.
