3-time Super Bowl champion coach Walsh dies
Architect of West Coast offense guided Montana, 49ers to 3 titles in 1980s

Bill Walsh, who transformed the NFL with his West Coast offense and led the San Francisco 49ers to three Super Bowl championships during the 1980s, died Monday after a long battle against leukemia. He was 75.

Truly a great coach and human being. His influence will still be felt around the league many years from now.

I saw that and got sad. the Walsh 49ers were my first favorite NFL team.
Seemed like a genuinely good guy.

I definitely was never a 49er fan but I had to admire the way Walsh carried himself on and off the field..Enjoy heaven Coach
