Screw Assistance

I just bought a used Plasma TV that was mounted on a wall. Well I want to put it back on its stand but the yahoo I bought it off of didn't keep the screws.

According to the guide it uses

42 mm Stand-Off Screws for the Bottom of the TV – 2 QTY
55 mm Stand-Off Screws for the Top of the TV – 2 QTY

It doesn't tell me the width. If I ask for a 42mm stand off screw at lowes will they know what width to give me or is that standard?

May I suggest a drill index guide and then once you've figured out how big of a hole a 45 or 55 mm screw fits in....

Go down a 2-3 sizes of bit...

Drill your holes and then put a good ole USA fastener in the hole.
