I read the thread when it was first posted and watched the clip with enthusiasm, but didn't feel I had much more to add to the conversation. This is one of my personal top five movies, though.

Well, you really don't get the full feel of the movie from that clip. It makes it look like a low-budget cheese-fest. Which is, well...

True. But:

Dialog and characters straight out of a 1930's serial + cheesy costumes and special effects + incredibly talented actors in supporting roles + Queen soundtrack = absolute campy greatness.

I'm surprised you've never seen it.
