I can not believe that a church that size, and pulls in that much money could not make this right. Every time i see these guys asking for money I think of Jim and Tammy Baker. This ****es me off worst than our government.

Between lecherous priests who love kids and cover-ups and dishonest husband and wife preacher teams who love gold and fame, it's a miracle the Church survives. But that's just it folks. Our Lord is in the miracle business. And He preserves His Church. Always has, always will.

The Church's One Foundation

1. The Church's one foundation
is Jesus Christ her Lord;
she is His new creation
by water and the Word.
From heaven He came and sought her
to be His holy bride;
with His own Blood He bought her,
and for her life He died.

2. Elect from every nation,
yet one o'er all the earth;
her charter of salvation,
one Lord, one faith, one birth;
one holy name she blesses,
partakes one holy food,
and to one hope she presses,
with every grace endured.

3. Though with a scornful wonder
we see her sore oppressed,
by schisms rent asunder,
by heresies distressed,
yet saints their watch are keeping;
their cry goes up, "How long?"
And soon the night of weeping
shall be the morn of song.

4. Mid toil and tribulation,
and tumult of her war,
she waits the consummation
of peace forevermore;
till, with the vision glorious,
her longing eyes are blest,
and the great church victorious
shall be the church at rest.

5. Yet she on earth hath union
with God the Three in One,
and mystic sweet communion
with those whose rest is won.
O happy ones and holy!
Lord, give us grace that we
like them, the meek and lowly,
on high may dwell with thee.

This situation has been resolved, the lady now has her house.

The Without Walls Church has been the subject of much ridicule...the Whites (Mr. and Mrs. are the head Pastors) live in a $2M home on Bayshore drive, they drive $75k vehicles, they travel by private jet, he has a condo in California, and they both have had plastic surgery (to look the part for tv).

Membership is dropping and I think it will continue to suffer because of all the bad press.

Our Lord gave hope away for free. People like these appear to sell hope.:(

TAMPA - An elderly widow who loaned $170,000 to Randy and Paula White, co-pastors of Without Walls International Church, says she has been repaid - with interest.
A May 20 Tribune story reported details of the loan Ruth McGinnis, a longtime church member, made in 1995. The Whites had promised to repay McGinnis and to have her live with them as a family member for the rest of her life. She shared their home only sporadically, though, and 12 years later, had been repaid only about $2,000.

It is amazing the power of a little bad publicity. The saddest part of this story is that it took a newpaper article to fix this situation.:(

It's sad when a few mess up the whole image of truly genuine people who are preachers and pastors.

I've got no sympathy for the welfare mom who can't keep her legs together.

And my position on those big rock & roll churches has been expressed - ad nauseum - so there's no need to go into that mess.

Look, the way you separate out the good from the bad is simple. Follow closely, now, because it's so simple you may miss it:

1. Jesus never asked anyone for money or promised them material possessions/wealth in return for their faith.

2. Jesus never instructed his apostles to ask for money or to promise people material possessions/welth in return for their faith.

Therefore,

3. If you ever come across any "Christian" outfit - on television or not, far away or in your neighborhood - ever asks for money or promises you material possessions, they are not with Jesus nor is their ministry.

It's simple.
