I ve got a student in my youth group named Aaron...Good kid...As good as you will find..
Anyway his mom has cancer and is on chemo. She struggles but is making it so far. Its a miracle she is even alive at this point.
This morning, his dad didnt wake up. Not sure exactly what happened but pretty sure it was a heart attack. He was in good health, or at least they thought he was.
Everybody is in shock right now. They had made preparations for her moving on but nothing for him. Its just a bad situation.
Aaron just graduated high school and is on his way to college. He is one of those kids that opens doors for everyone and everything is "yes maam" and "no maam"..Its tough to lose a parent and now faces a possibility of losing both of them at 18.
I ve been with him and his mom all day and am going back in a little while. Really no family around for them except for the youth pastor...me.
