So, last night, I closed up shop about 7:15 and not being in the mood to go straight home, I went to a local watering hole... Sambuca.

Strolled in.. had a seat at the bar.. ordered a martini.. when..

Out of the blue.. the BEETDIGGER walks up to me.. says.. "Lid... you don't remember.. it's me.. Beetdigger!" (perhaps he recognized the bow tie.. it was pink too!)

Dayum... we chatted a bit, talked about football.. about life.. He was there with an alumni group from the University of Chicago. Says he's been swamped with work and hasn't been on here for awhile and to extend his hello to the board.

Beet's a good dude.

No... he was there with his alum group.. I walked passed him not even recognizing him.

pretty good group, band, playing there last night too.
