First things first, I want to apologize to someone very dear to my heart that witnessed some photograghs that were posted a few weeks ago about a girl that had some interest in me (that girl was one year older than my oldest daughter) and I was callous and insensitive enough to post them along with some rude remarks that accompanied them. THis person ha s been apart of my life for the last 29 years (and is helping me recuperate even nowand even though the road has been a little rocky for the last few months they did not deserve what they witnessed in that thread.

Now on to the next topic.....Spinal Fusion Surgery sucks but I'm pulling through it particularly with the help from the person ( my wife) I mentioned above. I got home last Friday after a vey difficult nine day stay at the hospital and have been incrementally getting better day by day. At first or after the Surgery it's hell to sit, lay, move to any position that's comfortable but after taking the proper medication and getting some proper physical therapy it does get easier. I am using a wa
lker right now so MJCPR can make all the jokes he wants. The physical therapist is due a 4:00 so I see more torture on the horizon and my anticipated time before I return to work is like 6 weeks. So I guess I'll have to sharpen my Texas Holdem' skills beyond what they are now. If that's possible????

But I do appreciate all the concern and get well wishes sent my way recently and I also advise that you never take your L4 and L5 disks forgranted as well the Love of Your life.

That's it for now, more oxycodone please.
God Bless You All,
Steve

my mom had back surgery back in '94 to repair a ruptured disc. now the disc degenerated over time and her spine fused together on it's own, but in the wrong place. nothing she can do but take pain killers and deal with it. she's a walking pharmacy.

Good to hear you are doing better. My roommate had the same surgery you did, except lower in his back earlier this year, and he has bounced back well enough to go mountain climbing next week. Hopefully you can recover like he has.

Betting on the Come: Betting while playing a hand that you are drawing to, rather than a hand that is the best current hand.
