I think this is a really good move, but as stated above, people won't watch it without Bob. Drew is a very fun guy, and is surprisingly enough a good host on live TV, thinks well on his feet. PIR has lost a lot of viewers over the last decade anyway, and I don't think even Bob could have saved the PIR's coming fate.

He's just a successor, like was done for "heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's Johnny!!!" I don't know that Bob Barker is in good health, he sure doesn't look very well... and I'm not talking about his old-man features. He had hazy eyes and was very pale and shaky last time I saw him interviewed.
