So I was plinking around online this morning searching for a new Sooner myspace layout for my page. I must have clicked on a bad site at one point in my search. I've had pop ups of "singles in your area" and "rent a car" and all sorts of garbage like that coming up on my screen all day now. My system is dragging and most of the time when I switch web sites a page that I'm not even trying to go to pops up. (not to mention my pop up blocker is on)
Anyways, I tried to defrag and it's not working, so I tried a scandisk and this is what keeps coming up in the middle of it:
"Scandisk has restarted 10 times because windows or another program has been writing this drive. Quitting some running programs may enable scandisk to finish sooner...". You all have been great in helping me w/my computer problems in the past so I thought I'd ask for help once again. I hope I don't have a virus!
