Tri-cities area, near Johnson City, Bristol, etc. In less than an hour I can get to Grandfather Mtn, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, NC, Boone/Blowing Rock, SW Virginia, and Kentucky. About 90 minutes to the Smokies. It really is a beautiful part of the world.

Just what is apple pie moonshine? Some good tast'n **** that will **** you up....and I will say, the stuff I had, tasted JUST like apple pie. Easy....too easy goin down.

Just what is apple pie moonshine?

Corn "likker."

It's flavored moonshine. This variety tastes like spiced cider to me.
You see, some of the locals spice up their white lightning with fruit and other stuff to make it more satisfying to the palette. And if you've ever tasted it straight, you know that homemade hooch needs all the help it can get cause it's actually pretty nasty. Sort of a cross between gasoline and turpentine with the aftertaste of battery acid. Flavors of note in East Tennessee are: Apple Pie, Berry (hell any old berry will do), Cherry, Grape, Peach, and my personal favorite - Pineapple! Now peach is supposed to be good, but tricky and it apparently depends on the batch you get.

Really if you ever get the chance to try Apple Pie or Pineapple it's well worth it. I've got a gallon of pineapple ordered. I've got to get some of this to a tailgate with the drunkytown crew sometime.

I got a Chase Equity Card in the mail today. It say's it's a credit line up to $500K. I'nm kinda suspiciaous cause the card is kinda flimsy and doesn't have a magnetic stripe on the back.. ya think i could by a 12'ver with it?
