The Husker fans are okay, for the most part, with this but were outraged when Dusty Dvoracek was readmitted to the team after a one year suspension.

The Huskers are screwed with Callahan as their coach. He reminds me of Gary Gibbs, in that he is a decent first half coach. Just look at the OSU game last year and the butt pounding they took in the second half. A couple of more years of Callahan and their AD will start another moronic attempt to find a coach. I am afraid the Huskers are going to be middle of the road at best for the next several years.

As long as Callahan is your coach that's all you guys have is hope.

1 game after what he did seems a bit light to me. But I'm not from Oakland.

Me neither, but I found this in the link 24 provided.

Purify, 21, had been indefinitely suspended leading up to resolution of his legal matters on Wednesday in Lancaster County Court, when he was placed on 12 months' probation and fined a combined $1,250.

Purify pled no contest to a driving under the influence charge from June 8. He also pled no contest to assault, disturbing the peace and hindering/delaying arrest from a May 5 incident, but had three other charges either dismissed or amended as part of a plea agreement.

That's exactly what I thought Cally would do with Wake being the 2nd game and USC coming up after that.
