I took my whole fam damily to Galveston last week for a 5 day cruise aboard the Carnival Ecstasy. Aside from all the burnt orange and maroon on board, it was a lot of fun. (There was a fair share of Crimson and Cream as well)
We took an excusion at Progresso and the two girls in front of me on the bus were Aggies. The spent the whole time singing about sawing the horns off varsity and other lovely aggie songs. I was glad it was only a 40 minute drive.
It was a great trip, the kids loved it, and my wife and I would have enjoyed it even more, had we found someone willing to watch the kids for the 6 days so we could have gone without them! ;)
The night before we went to the ship we stayed at the San Luis at Galveston. It was really cool. They even let us park there and drove us to the dock. Nice Hotel.
