I miss Aaron Taylor and Saunders. Those guys never made disguised rips on other teams, and very much respected the traditions of the game. I think Aaron Taylor lost his job when he made a comment prior to the 2005 Rose Bowl about teams "need to stop making up National Championships to make them look better." Didn't set too well with the rest of his ESPN/ABC bretheren around him.

I do enjoy watching game day, despite the parade of morons that goes through the gameday set and studio. Lou, Mark May, Desmond Howard (the bozo that didn't know who was playing in the Holiday Bowl last year? I think thats him) and cameo appearances by Nick Lachey really need to end.

I like Herbie and Fowler, and the on-location sets. Corso is tolerable as long as Herbie and Fowler are present. Seeing the Game Day set back in 2000 for the Nebraska game was cool, will always remember that because that game told everyone we were back.

Other tv people I like:
Saunders- Tells it like it is, with no bias.
Craig James- Also tells it like it is, with a touch of pro-OU bias.
Spence Tillman- Smooth dude, well spoken and tells it like it is.
Aaron Taylor- Loved his energy. Wish he was still in the ABC studio.
