Wife is out of town.

I have no work to do at my job.

Everything out-doors is flooded, so I can't work in my yard.

I got a depressed dog (where's my mommy?), a digi camera, no beer or alcohol, guns laying around all over the place, a computer that really needs its hardware updated to this decade, a jeep full of water , no money (no work, no money), step-daughter took off with that stupid Wii, dog-park is probably full of mud, no ammo to shoot that I'm not hoarding, sh.t

I think I'll post some of my favorite pictures.

Man, I couldn't figure out why the whole thing turned a corner yesterday like it was one unit, like a school bus or a stretched limo.

Everytime you turn the corner at 15th & May, you sound like an elephant in heat:D

Don't know if it's you, just see a lot of your company's trucks turning there. I'm usually on the corner sling'n rock, and no, I'm not the bum in the coverall's(you know you've seen'm:D).

Yeah, I know exactly who you're talking about. I guess they kicked him out of the Stop n Go parking lot because I haven't seen him in awhile. The dude looked at me funny everytime I drove by.

My truck is the only one in the company that looks like this.

Tuba asked me if I was a Charges fan, lol.

Were you there last Summer when they found the dead body in the ditch behind the Metro-Bus yard?

I work north of 40....no, not the roadrunner of bosco's...further north. I've seen the bum whackin weeds with a yo-yo around that ****ty *** store. I supspect they pay him in some way or another. I actually bought a pair of coveralls for him last winter. I could never find him, so I gave them to my fat *** BIL.

Never heard about the body, but I'm quite sure there are more around that area if they look hard enough.

You should get a longer wheel base truck.:D

So do I. I bet it's got a smooth ride. My first job at driving was in a 1972 (****shaker)White. Tandum axle straight truck, six speed. You could actually put it into 1st without the clutch, at a stand still(I swear!). If it weren't for the air seat, I probably would be retired on workman's comp.:D

My Clutch brake is out, so I have to do the same thing. You dang sure don't want to 'lose a gear' in stop n go traffic. I'm glad I can float gears or there wouldn't be anything left of my knee.

Ride is smooth when it's loaded. Not so much when it ain't.

Heh.

I drove this thing in stop'n go traffic in Dallas. My left leg would be shaking violently going through that crap. I will say however, that tranny would float into each gear with no problem. The other two trucks were a L9000(POS) and a Volvo. I have nothing good to say about the Ford, but the Volvo was the nicest truck I have been in(10 speed EF), fairly smooth as well.

The school I went to in Drumright taught us to double-clutch when changing gears. Always use the clutch and never float.

Then the recruiters came in and here's this old man with a srsly fked up knee and back, and he says it wouldn't be nothing to use the clutch 500 times in Chicago traffic. So I determined myself to learn how to float. Those country boys who grew up on the farm were doing it before they left the school. It took me a little longer to figure it out:)

Every year when the new trucks come out, they say you'll have to use the clutch when changing gears, but it always turns out to be false and we keep on floating. When they make it to where you have to use the clutch, then I will change careers.

My left foot only moves when it's time to stop or start from a stop, otherwise it stays flat on the floor.
