Sometimes I hear that Merle Haggard song just start playing in my head when I see freaks like this in the U.S. "If you don't like it, LEAVE IT!"

At least Johnny Depp took the advice and moved away. Sounds like some of these hate mongering artists need to book a one-way trip to Venezuela.

Yeah, not really sure why idiots like this stick around since they hate this country so much. North Korea could always use a few more mouths to feed.

people like this just need to go live in another country for awhile. Its easy to complain about something if you have nothing to compare it to but your own idealistic world.

We live in the greatest country in the world.

OTOH, this country is far from perfect.

Are you with me so far?

There is no better place on this earth. All we can do is work to make the United States as good as it can possibly be.

Criticism <> hatred.

if you read the posted link, not all of the "art" was from the US, they basically didn't filter anything, so everything submitted was shown, including stuff sent from Iran, etc...

I didn't see any works of art in that link.

The right of Free Speech is the greatest of our Bill of Rights...however, even greater is the freedom to ignore **** like this that plays upon this right. If all these so-called "artists" want is a platform to espouse their collective garbage, then I can think of no better place than San Francisco. that way, I can ignore both the art and the "City by the Bay" thst can fall into the Pacific for all I care...of course, this is IMHO!

Like I have said several times previous, there is an asteroid headed towards Earth. It should be here around 2037 or so. Some people want to destroy it. I say we need to first find out where it's going to hit and THEN decide whether or not to destroy it.

Sort of ironic that some of the "artists" who are responsible for these "works of art" are celebrating their right to free speech, by promoting a system of government (communism) which would TAKE AWAY their right to free speech. Maybe they should arrest themselves and throw themselves into prison, for expressing their opinions, since doing such would be illegal in their perfect world.

In that prison, they could have a ball burning American flags. Their cellmates would provide them with lots of positive support.

On the drag next to Whorn U I was handed a newspaper for these kinds of folks, The Daily Worker.

They claimed in the newspaper to be fighting oppression here today like so many had before, and they listed among others the Polish Solidarity movement against a "stalinist" regime.

I thought, "WHA WHA WHA?" Are they that shameless? They're *communists*. And the Poles were being oppressed by *communists*.

Living in Austin will expose you to communists. Literally communists. Not someone left-leaning hippy who likes welfare or acknowleges the failures of the market economy. Actual communists who wear pro-cuba stuff and aren't being ironic and would love to destroy your freedom of religion and speech. It's a sight to behold.

Austin commies.

That explains a lot actually.

I'm just amazed that these artists are evidently so out of touch that they still think all that bolshevik BS is romantic and noble. (Che was a self-worshipping dip****.) They truly live in their own little world populated only by folks just like themselves. They really need to get out into the real world some. But that would be like work.

ironically, Che Guevara would likely sue the person who spent their time painting that...along with the people making millions selling t-shirts with his likeness on them.

I bought the following shirt when I lived in London at a street market from the designer's booth. Their shirts are pretty witty and I recommend checking them out. One of the few Brits willing to be truly irreverant towards everyone. They said they truly enjoy making people double take, and that noone needed "the mickey taken out of them" worse than Che.

Take a look at their other wares. They're nice blokes.
