Rhino,
I hope you and LilSooner have many years of hapiness together.

Bob Stoops.

Or something pretty darn close to that. Oh and he used our real names.

I thought it was a pretty cool present.

I'd think paying to save her dog just before the wedding would be sufficient.....

I gave my bride a little white leather bound Bible she carried with her bouquet. I had her new married name embossed on the cover. She thought it was sweet, which is really the main thing. She saved it and plans to give it to our daughter to carry down the aisle when some guy snags her someday.

It does not have to be jewelry, just a sweet little something should be fine...maybe a nice gift set of her favorit perfume? or the bible is sweet, or the note, or something for the honeymoon?

Something engraved with a phrase that means something to the two of you is always a good idea too.

My husband pulled a silver and gold heart shaped locket on a 28" chain out of his pocket and handed it to me after he lifted my veil and kissed me. It had my new last name engraved on it. :)

I got my wife a nice Citizen Eco-Drive watch. She had recently gotten me a Seiko Kinetic watch, which I had been looking at for awhile because I hate changing batteries on watches, and she had mentioned she liked the idea of not having to change the batteries also.

One of the last weddings I went to, the groom gave the bride a necklace to wear with her wedding gown. Natural pearls to replace the cultured.
