Nobody has posted a thread about this excellent movie? Pixar does it again. Highly recommended.

Took our 11 y/o niece to see it Sunday. Pretty good. I thought the funniest part was the 5 minute cartoon before the movie. :D

I was going to say how great it was, but I didn't know how to spell it! ;)

Amazing looking and not dumbed down. Big thumbs up.

kid safe?

Definitely.

I can see that some younger kids might get restless. It's not action-packed, to say the least. Very slow-paced. Lots of discussion about cooking and food.

However, despite its lack of obviously exciting premise, it works wonderfully.

We loved it. I'm not sure it will be a "nemo-esque" hit with preschoolers, but I think older kids will really enjoy it.

I'd agree with the older kids comment. It was long for a cartoon.

Our family enjoyed it too. My five year wasn't bored in the least and stayed in tune through the whole movie.

They've been showing trailers for it seems like forever and I've always thought, "Ugh, looks crappy". I'll end up taking the boys, though.

I love cooking, so I had to see this one. It's excellent, but I can see where younger kids may not like it. Especially if they're given too much sugar and are used to ADD-esque entertainment. :D

I am initially turned off by the concept of rats and food. Seems like a bad idea.

I wasn't all that excited about seeing it, which is unusual for a Pixar movie but I really enjoyed it. Wasn't their best but better than any of the non-pixar crap out there.

I agree, not the best but still pretty good, worth seeing.
