That was awesome!!! There are few things that sound prettier than a stadium full of people singing the national anthem.

ps I know where this thread is headed.

Very cool. I get goose bumps every time I hear our anthem.

Why on earth do you have to show me Red Sox fans as anything other than vile, disgusting vermin?

Seriously though, that was awesome.

That was awesome. It's too bad every stadium doesn't sound like that every night.

Just like when Mo Cheeks helped a very nervous teenager through the national anthem before Game 3 of their series against Dallas back in 2003.

Here's one of my favorites...

I hate it when people do their 'own version' of the anthem, but this is brilliant.

Ladies & Gentlemen, Marvin Gaye!

Does anyone ever find it odd that the only time we as a nation sing our national anthem is at sporting events?

I certainly don't mean to start a ****storm... at least this time.. but, LEAVE THE WORDS TO THE NATIONAL ANTHEM ALONE!!!!

Don't yell out "stars" at a Stars game when the word is sung in the song and for God's sake... leave the "... home of the brave" alone as well.

Am not talking about a "right." In the words of my father, who is a pilot and Korean War vet, "It's just trite and in poor taste."

If theres one thing we Americans are good at, it's poor taste.

Ok, we can agree to disagree. That's what makes America great.

Moving on. . .
