In addition to a multivitamin, I take 1000 IU daily of Vitamin D. There's all this research coming out that shows Vitamin D might prevent a whole slew of icky diseases you don't want, such as heart disease and ta-ta cancer.

Vitamins are overblown. Also, vitamin ADEK are fat soluble vitamins, so there is a chance you can O.D. on them !

When the Doc put me on a low sodium diet I put down the salt shaker. Since table salt is one of the few sources of Iodine in a diet, I started taking a multi vitamin daily. Say what you will, but since I started that I have had very few colds and sinus infections. Used to have a couple of colds a year and a like amount of sinus infections.

Dude, ODing on oxygen is EASY - the stuff is extremely reactive (read: poisonous) in high quantities, much like chlorine and fluorine gas.
Multi-vitamin, tumeric, and ginko-biloba. I can really tell a difference in my energy level, mental alertness, etc when I take them every day.
Of course, it could be a placebo for all I know . . .
