This is a new building the company I work for is building. It is called The Mile High Church and they are using a relatively new dome building technology. The process requires the PVC type material dome to be inflated like a balloon then a team comes in and sprays the inside with foam and then the shotcrete comes in behind them to finish the inside of the dome while the outer shell remains. Anyway, here are the pictures.

And certainly last but not least the "cross" picture. This is completely unaltered and there is nothing in the dome making this image. I guess the sun was hitting it just right? Remember this is a Church

Isn't that the same technology used to construct the Tropicana Stadium Dome in St. Petersburg, FL in the late 80's early 90's?

Is that Earth-friendly?

If the church fails, it could be the New Biosphere.

Looks like first christian church of oklahoma city on 36th and walker. Built in 56 so I guess they were 50 years before their time. Can't find any pictures tho

folks.........it's the construction technique that is new, not the concept of utilizing a dome.

I hope it is not a Methodist church. That looks like a perfect place for them to plan their terrorist activites against Proud Gonzo.

Once the hard stuff is blown on it, are they going to make stained glass windows?

And how do you make a steeple out of ballons and whatnot?
