If I ever get this bad, you guys just shoot me.

Here's the dealio. This old guy who lived across the street from my m-i-l since the late 1960's when he retired from the Army is still kicking.

He's a retired E-9 and now 88 y/o. Here's the thing. His wife passed away about five years ago and he's already been thru three wives since then.

He had his prostate out and lost, well, function. Other than that, he's in great health.

Soooo, he had some kind of nylon prosthesis dealio put in and he walks around with a permanent, well, you know. Now, it's like he has no concept of what is appropriate behavior.

The guy is absolutely obsessed. His pick-up he drives around town in is full of pron. He's all handsy and gropes women every chance he gets. His children, all at least in their late thirties don't know what to do about him. He PO'ed his middle son when that guys wife (his d-i-l) told him the old d00d had been hitting on her for secks.

I womder if they have any meds? Kinda like the opposite of Viagra or something? I'm afraid he's gonna keep on until he does something to get locked-up. He used to be a cool guy.

:pop:

My brutha, trust me, it's sick. Seriously. It has gotten to point that females of all ages make a point of keeping him at arms length. It's difficult because he has always been a highly regarded and well liked member of the community. Now, he just freaks folks out when he walks up with a banana in his khakis.

The kids need to get him to a psychologist for evaluation pronto, IMO.

If he started this only after his wife died, it could be some kind of mental breakdown related to that, or it could be an age related disease of some kind.

And yeah, they do have pills that can put the kibosh on your sex drive. Most of them do so as a side effect, though. Anti-psychotics and anti-depressives will do anything from preventing you from being interested, preventing you from getting it up, to letting you do everything but finish the deed.

Don't know about putting the kibosh on the secks drive for men, but for women all it takes is a marriage license. :D

It seems like some form of dementia. He's worse than a thirteen y/o male, who, as I recall, are obsessed with secks.

"Chemical castration". Sometimes used for prostate cancer and erases all desire.

I had the pain of seeing a family member exhibit that behavior in the year before he died. It was definitely some form of dementia.
